Isn't Ironic

Arthur always tired to be a good citizen. He always paid his rent, credit card, and miscellaneous bills right on time. He didn't make a whole lot of money but every year he could afford to get in his car and go on a road trip across America. This year something happened. The transmission on his station wagon failed completely on the longest highway in North Dakota. By the time the car got towed and the transmission replaced, Arthur had spent all of his trip money. He turned around and drove home ending his vacation early. Life seemed incomplete. He really needed that vacation every year. It was the only thing that stopped him from breaking down. He called the doctor and said he needed something to ease his depression. The doctor referred him to a psychiatrist who found nothing abnormal mentally, the doctor on the other hand suggested he eat more vegetables and maybe take a nice long vacation.
