These are all the obscure and not so obscure albums and CD cover art work that I have buried away in my attic.  This was my main source of any reading materials from age 12 on.  I found album liner notes and picture much more interesting than books.  Although I remember reading "Call of the Wild".  I never read anything that I didn't have to read for school.  It was hard to concentrate on reading when you had the record player cranked to 11.

Listed below are the albums that had the biggest influence on my life.  They are prioritized starting with the most important album:

This has been my favorite band since I got the first album.  I remember it was a hard time in life for me.  Lost my job, brand new baby boy (Jesse) and trying to live in a small row house in Baltimore.  I would put this record on and just hold Jesse in my arms and rock him to sleep. Concrete Blonde continues to be my favorite band.

I sometimes think that Whole Lotta Love is the greatest rock song ever. I clearly remember spending a whole summer in Minneapolis when I was about 19 with a guy named Jeff who had a cool old red Thunderbird convertible.  We would drive around for hours just listening to this album over and over.

I drove from Minneapolis to Florida for 26 straight hours in the rain and never stopped listening to this David Bryne and Brian Eno album.  It was so far ahead of its time.  Everyone should have this in their collection.
